Terms and conditions:
This promotional offer ("Offer") is exclusive to Alberta residents living in Red Deer and/or any community located north of Red Deer, in the province of Alberta. Offer expires on September 30, 2024 ("Expiration Date"). Eligible participants must hold an existing chequing account or open a new chequing account by the expiration date, either online or at a designated branch. They must maintain a minimum balance of $4,000 in their Personal Essential Plan to qualify for a waiver of the monthly account fees. Fees apply if chequing account minimum balance of $4,000 is not maintained.
With an active chequing account, participants also qualify to open a High Yield Savings Account (HYSA), which will accrue interest at an annualized rate of 6% (Promotional Rate). Promotional rate is on new funds to Servus and is valid until December 31, 2024. There are no minimum deposits required. All accounts must be opened and funded prior to expiration date.
The maximum savings is limited to $250,000 per participant. Standard HYSA fees apply. Interest on the HYSA is calculated based on the daily closing balance and paid on a monthly basis.
